According to the Public Relations Department of the Pishgaman Union, four players from the Pishgaman Yazd Under-16 Water Polo Team have been invited to the national training camp titled “Toward the 2032 Olympics.”

As announced by the Iran Swimming Federation, Sobhan Paknia, Seyed Ali-Asghar Seyedai, Mohammad Parsa Akbarzadeh, and Amirali Zare from the Pishgaman Yazd Water Polo Team have been selected through the national talent identification and training program. They are among the finalists invited to attend the last stage of the national camp, to be held from November 3 to 6 in Fars Province.

The “Toward the 2032 Olympics” program is organized under the supervision of Dajan Milakovic, Technical Director of Iran’s National Water Polo Teams, and the Technical Committee of the Swimming Federation, with the goal of discovering and nurturing young water polo talents from across the country.

The Pishgaman Yazd Water Polo Team had previously advanced to the final stage of the Iran U-16 Water Polo League, after achieving five consecutive victories in the preliminary round as one of the top teams from the southern region.

The Pishgaman Sports Club, while congratulating these four players and the team’s coaching staff, expressed hope that their future achievements will further contribute to the development of water polo in Yazd and across the country.
