During an inspection visit to Pishgaman Dry Port, the Special Representative of Iran’s President for Coordinating Maritime-Oriented Development Policies declared it one of three official hinterlands to Shahid Rajaee Port.
Ali Abdolalizadeh – the President’s Special Representative for Coordinating Maritime-Oriented Development Policies – jointly visited the facility with the Governor of Yazd Province. He announced: “Pishgaman Dry Port (Yazd) and Apadana Dry Port (Tehran) have been selected as official hinterlands to Shahid Rajaee Port and will soon play pivotal roles in national logistics development.”
He added: “Furthermore, Sirjan Dry Port will later be integrated into the national transport and transit network as an additional hinterland for this major port.”
The visit, attended by national and provincial officials, emphasized enhancing Iran’s logistical capacities and streamlining transport/export processes. Abdolalizadeh recognized Pishgaman Dry Port as a “pioneer” in this initiative and outlined plans to expand cooperation with other logistics centers.
