Pishgaman Sanat Sabz Expands Its Stone Paper Production Chain

Pishgaman Sanat Sabz Cooperative Production Company, the first producer of stone paper in the Middle East, has completed the in-house conversion of stone paper into finished products by launching a new production line for stone paper envelopes.

The company’s CEO said that while Pishgaman Sanat Sabz had previously focused on the production of stone paper rolls and sheets, it has now expanded its manufacturing capabilities to complete its value chain by producing finished products for the packaging and office supplies sectors.

Seyed Mohammad Asari Yazdi added that the company’s stone paper envelopes are available in both standard and customized versions, serving a wide range of markets including stationery suppliers, organizations, government offices, laboratories, radiology centers, automobile exhibitions, and notary public offices.

He noted that the envelopes are manufactured from stone paper, a material known for its high resistance to water, moisture, and tearing. The use of ultrasonic sealing technology during production further enhances the strength and durability of the final product.

Referring to the potential of stone paper in the packaging industry, Asari Yazdi said that features such as environmental resistance, direct printability, and reduced reliance on certain finishing processes make stone paper a suitable material for the development of innovative packaging products.

He concluded by stating that Pishgaman Sanat Sabz Cooperative Production Company, with an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of stone paper, is continuing to expand its printing equipment and product portfolio. The company’s long-term objective is to become a major integrated paper and printing complex by bringing stone paper production, printing, and packaging together within a single manufacturing ecosystem.
